Description
This video describes the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia by using Optilume catheter system. The procedure consists of standard cystoscopy and prostatic fossa dilatation to create anterior commissurotomy using the pre-dilation balloon, then the paclitaxel coated balloon is used to help prevent hyperplastic response and maintain patency of the lumen. The video emphasizes the simplicity of this minimally invasive procedure, which can be performed in outpatient setting and provide excellent initial outcomes.
