Description
The number of post prostatectomy patients with stress urinary incontinence and erectile dysfunction is growing. 1 And the use Artificial urinary sphincter (AUS) and inflatable penile prosthesis (IPP) in the management of such conditions has proven its efficacy, especially for the refractory cases. 2,3 Many patients have both devices, and since the AUS revision rates are higher,4 some will need further AUS procedures with their IPP in place. This might constitute a challenge that require special consideration.5 The video demonstrates a novel technique of corporal repair in a patient with an existing IPP who was undergoing a revision AUS procedure with Trans Corporal (TC) AUS cuff placement. Tutoplast® graft was used to reinforce the corporal defect for immediate hemostasis and to create a barrier between the AUS new cuff and IPP cylinders, reducing the likelihood of long-term mechanical
